I’ve always been fascinated by what happens behind the scenes of the software we use every day. Even as a kid, I often found myself imagining the logic beneath every click, animation, and screen. That curiosity eventually led me to study Computer Science at Oregon State University, where I began learning how these systems are actually built.
During my time at Oregon State, I joined the Center for Applied Systems and Software (CASS), where my love for developing real-world software truly accelerated. One of my proudest projects was leading the design, development, and launch of the Transportation Operations Center System for the Oregon Department of Transportation—a platform that powers real-time decision-making for over 100 dispatchers as they manage hundreds of thousands of roadway incidents.
That experience set the foundation for my time at Expedia Group, where I expanded my impact across some of the most widely-used travel platforms in the world. From building scalable trip planning features and interfaces used by millions of travelers worldwide to streamlining service observability across thousands of microservices, I’ve worked on both the front lines of user experience and the behind-the-scenes infrastructure that keeps complex systems running smoothly.
At the heart of everything I build is the same mindset that first pulled me into this field: a genuine curiosity about how things work and an eagerness to keep learning how to make them better. I'm passionate about creating technology that’s not only technically sound, but also purposeful. The deeper I go into this craft, the more I realize how much more there is to learn—and that’s exactly what keeps me going!
